I do believe that God above

Created you for me to love.

He picked you out from all the rest,

For he knew I’d love you the best.

Once I had a heart so true,

But now it’s gone from me to you.

So care for it as I have done,

For now you have two and I have none.

If I get to Heaven before your there,

I’ll write your name on a golden stair.

Then all the angels can see,

Exactly what you mean to me.

If your not there on judgment day

(And I hope it won’t be that way),

I’ll reach down for you from Heaven above,

And bring you home with me, my only love.
